Q: Is there a core when you're purchasing auto switch
option-2?
A:
No, there is no core as the module has to stay in
the car. That's why plug and play connector is offered,
otherwise you have to hardwire it splicing into your car's
wires.
Q: Can I buy Option 1 VIM only and upgrade it to
autoswitch later?
A: Yes, but it will cost you as much as buying the
auto switch to begin with. So, if you want or are thinking
to have backup camera in the future, you should always
choose Option 2 auto switch.
Q: What is the PNP connector
for? Do I need it ?
A:
