Option 3 - Billet Pro series GTO shifter

The Billet Pro series GTO v8 6spd shifter is truly one of a kind. Retaining the remote linkage design as found on the factory shifter is a difficult task to achieve when also attempting to improve shift performance and shift throw. This was in fact the key aspect of the design, and through thorough testing and refinement it was successfully achieved to a standard not yet seen before.

Driver preference is a very personal thing, and with this in mind shift lever height and shift throw is fully adjustable with three settings from the standard height and throw reduction of 50%, right down to an ultra low position and 60% throw reduction.

Each shift body is precision CNC machined from specially selected billet aluminum and utilizes high grade steel shafts, providing the perfect combination of strength and performance for the most demanding of driving conditions. To improve shift speed and precision of the infamous 2nd-3rd gear shift, self centering spring pack systems have been incorporated into each design to ensure a perfect gear selection every time. Furthermore, the ingeniously designed fully adjustable positive stops add a little extra insurance for your wallet against over shifting and damaging synchros.

 The JHP GMM Ripshifter Race version is great for those that do drag or track work along with daily driving. It has a very solid feel with tight shifting. The JHP GMM Ripshifter has perfected the 3rd gear shift. Rip through the gears as fast as you can. Slamming them as hard as you like.

The JHP GMM Ripshifter (Race version) uses your stock shifter knob and boot.

"G'day fellas just wanted to comment on Ripshift . My car came with a HSV short shifter which is an improvement over the stock shifter , I replaced this with a ripshifter, it is far superior...
It is a must for any sort of motor sport and will greatly enhace daily driveing of your monaro , as far as im concerned all M6 holdens should have one fitted.Much faster and more precise gear changes , a much stronger shifter as well. Nearly every fast M6 here in Aus has one of these fitted . You will not be disapointed."
