With any Factory Australian Performance vehicle (think HSV, FPV & Sti…), these vehicles have the performance to get up and go but they also have incredible stopping power to match.

Braking is a common area that most owners neglect to upgrade. JHP have 4 great Performance brake options to suit VT – VZ Commodores.

1 – PBR PERFORMANCE BRAKE KIT

330mm Front, 315mm Rear Ventilated, Grooved, with larger 2 piston red front callipers, matching red rear callipers. You also get the performance brake pads and braided brake lines, etc.

This kit is the same as used on HSV VX/VY Clubsport, Maloo, etc. Tried, tested and proven brakes. (Must have 17” + wheels)

2 – HARROP HSV BRAKE KIT

The premium performance brake package; on offer from JHP, is designed for exceptional brake performance. This is achieved with 343mm slotted rotors front and rear. Couple this with the latest ‘4 piston’ callipers and performance brakes and you get exceptional braking performance. These will fit factory 17” Rims.

This powerful HSV brake package includes:

2x 343mm front 12 slotted rotors,
2x 343mm rear 12 slotted rotors,
4x ‘4 piston’ callipers (for front and rear)
and performance brake pads.

This kit is the same as used on HSV VX/VY Clubsport, Maloo, etc. Tried, tested and proven brakes. (Must have 17” + wheels)

3 – PBR M-SERIES 6 PISTON ULTIMATE BRAKE KIT

The PBR M-Series brake upgrade kit is a high level Street Performance package which comes complete with everything you need to access serious brake performance.

WARNING! This is not a "half" kit to tweak up your front end. This will deliver "real brake performance" like you've never known before. (Must have 18"+ rims)

2 x 6-piston M-Series front calipers
1 x Stainless steel braided hose kit
2 x 2-piece 355mm slotted & vented front discs

4 – GENUINE HSV / AP-6 SUPER LARGE GTS BRAKE KIT

362mm Front, 343mm Rear Cross-drilled, Grooved and Ventilated Rotors, with 6 piston red AP-HSV calliper and 4 piston red matching calliper. You also get the performance brake pads and braided brake lines. This kit is the same as used on the VY GTS sedan and coupe, unbelievable stopping power! (Must have 18” + wheels)

Steel Braided Performance
One of the trademarks of high performance brake systems is good pedal feel. A high performance brake system should deliver a firm, responsive pedal feel and one of the easiest ways to achieve this is by replacing the standard rubber brake hoses with a full set of stainless steel braided hoses.
* PBR Performance braided hoses are ADR7/00 and ABR42/04 approved. (Australian Roadworthy legal)

PBR Performance Racing Brake Fluid

PBR Performance Racing brake fluid, BF-600, has been specially formulated for racing applications to maintain viscosity and lubricity at extreme temperatures and has a typical dry boiling point of 312°C.
