"G'day fellas just wanted to comment on Ripshift . My car came with a HSV short shifter which is an improvement over the
stock shifter , I replaced this with a ripshifter, it is far superior...
It is a must for any sort of motor sport and will greatly enhace daily driveing of your monaro , as far as im concerned
all M6 holdens should have one fitted.Much faster and more precise gear changes , a much stronger shifter as well.
Nearly every fast M6 here in Aus has one of these fitted . You will not be disapointed."
Street Ripshift v Race Ripshift
The difference between the Street & Race version is the handle we supply. The Race version comes with a one piece
handle that takes the stock gear knob. The Street version uses your stock gear knob and your stock shifter shaft.
The GMM Ripshifter Street version is great for those that use their vehicle purely as a daily driver, yet still enjoy
spirited driving and may consider the occasional track work. The GMM Ripshifter has perfected the 3rd gear shift. Slam
the gears as hard as you like.
The Street handle is more suited to the noise conscious. The feel between the two is minimal depending on how soft the
rubber is in your stock handle. Gear spacing and 2nd to 3rd feature remain the same.
